'When Life Gives You Tangerines', which has established itself as a life drama for viewers around the world with its universal themes and warm stories that span generations, presents a special OST that will continue the drama's emotions and lingering feelings.
'When Life Gives You Tangerines' is a Netflix series that unfolds the adventure-filled life of Ae-soon, who was born in Jeju Island in the 1950s, and the iron-hard Gwan-sik over four seasons. Director Kim Won-seok's delicate directing, writer Im Sang-chun's warm narrative, and the passionate performances of IU, Park Bo-gum, Moon So-ri, and Park Hae-joon firmly hold the center of the drama. In addition, the deep acting of actors such as Yeom Hye-ran and Na Moon-hee, the art that meticulously recreates the era, and the colorful music that contains the narrative add to the perfection. The drama is a tribute to the previous generation and a message of support to the next generation through love that transcends time and blooms even after falling down and being frustrated, and gets back up again. The music for 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', which captures the emotions of the drama with each song's unique charm, was composed by music director Park Sung-il of Curiosity Studio, who has worked with director Kim Won-seok on 'My Mister', 'Signal', and 'Misaeng'.
